New year price increase

Hello Dumbdroid fans!

We’d like to give you a heads-up about an upcoming price increase for our phones. Starting in January, we will be bringing on a new part-time employee to help with logistics and company administration. This will free up Michal and Nick to focus more on improving the Dumbdroid OS and growing the business.

To keep our company sustainable in the long term, we will increase the base UK price of the Doov R77 Pro by £10. As a result, the EUR price will increase by approximately €11.50. These increases will take effect on January 5th, which means you still have about a week to buy the phone at the current lower price.

We realize that the Doov R77 Pro can be purchased at a significantly lower price on AliExpress and other online shops. When making this comparison, please keep in mind that buying directly from us includes a 2-year warranty, additional quality assurance, and directly supports the development of the Dumbdroid OS. That said, our software is free and open source, and we’re happy for anyone to install it at no cost on any compatible device.
